ABOUT US

WineLover's Auction is a signature event reflective of the extraordinary people who populate the Palm Springs area and the wines they love to drink. Just as the Coachella Valley draws fascinating people from all over the world, the superb wines presented at the annual WineLover's Auction come from all over the United States as well as from France, Italy, Chile, Argentina, Australia and more.
 
Net proceeds from the WineLover's Auction benefit Coachella Valley Volunteers In Medicine, the only no-charge medical and dental clinic in the Coachella Valley serving low-income, local residents who are uninsured.  CVVIM receives NO reimbursement for services provided from any government or private insurer; we rely solely on donations, grants and fundraising efforts to support our mission.
 

THE AUCTION

The WineLover's Auction is held each year at the renowned Thunderbird Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California, a location synonymous with the Desert lifestyle. In addition to the lavish surroundings, guests of this much-anticipated event are treated to delectable appetizers and an exquisite pre-auction meal courtesy of the Thunderbird's inspired culinary team.
 
Bidding opens on the Silent Auction and guests are free to peruse the exceptional array of auction items: Amazing fine wines; lavish travel packages; and more. As the Silent Auction comes to a close, wine lovers stroll to the main dining room to enjoy an opulent 3-course dinner and superb entertainment. The WineLover's Live Auction takes place after dinner, and this exciting, fun-filled event keeps bidder paddles flying high throughout the evening.
